Over 54,000 Customers chose to finance their homes with us in 2024. Each one of them placed enormous trust in our team to guide them on the path to homeownership.
It’s our responsibility to live up to that trust. We strive to always do the right thing for the right reason, provide the best possible experience for everyone involved and further the standards of social responsibility within our industry.
Our 2024 Social Responsibility report outlines the steps we take to serve our Customers, Associates and Stakeholders in three areas: equality, culture and community.

We’re proud to serve Customers from all backgrounds with the same commitment to Quality, Value and Integrity. To make homeownership more accessible for Lennar Customers, we offer a variety of programs to fit their needs.

Lennar Mortgage “Advantage” (Plus) Down Payment Assistance: In 2024, we launched the Lennar Mortgage “Advantage” Plus DPA program, improving an existing program by increasing the DPA available from 3.5% to 5%. This expanded assistance makes it even easier for our Customers to finance a home with little to no down payment.

Other Specialty Loan Programs: We’re always looking for new ways to help Customers finance their dream homes. Over 700 Customers chose to use affordability-focused programs including our Breathe Easy program,nd Freddie Mac BorrowSmart Access℠.

HomeBuyer Solutions Group (HBSG): Our complimentary credit education service, HomeBuyer Solutions Group, is offered to Customers whose credit profile may be holding them back from qualifying for a mortgage. About 64% of our 2024 HBSG graduates celebrated closings with us!

First-Time Homebuyer Programs and more: We also offer personalized guidance through other Down Payment Assistance and First-Time Homebuyer Programs, which vary based on location, loan program and other qualifying criteria.

Accredited Social Impact Lender (ASIL) Certification: In 2023, the National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America (NAMMBA) recognized us as being in the top 5% of mortgage lenders in social impact and racial equity.

Women in Leadership: In 2024, over 61% of people leaders within our organization and half of our executive team were women. Merit and growth potential are always at the forefront of our hiring and promotion decisions.

Wellness at Work: Through our Well-Being Max program, virtual wellness classes and insightful newsletters from our Chief Medical Officer, we incentivize putting wellness first.Every month in 2024, we hosted virtual wellness classes focusing on topics that promote both physical and mental wellness for our Associates to tune into from wherever they work.

Mortgage Banking Bound Certificate: In collaboration with Barry University, we've expanded the Mortgage Banking Bound Certificate Program launched in 2023– a unique, practical introduction to the mortgage industry.

Nurturing the Next Generation: Why search for the best talent when you have the power to create it? Through our NextGen program and summer internship opportunities, we’re providing growth opportunities to young professionals.
Involvement in Our Industry
We push for positive change at both the individual and organizational level. Engaging with our industry, pioneering technologies and finding solutions for a more affordable housing market are essential to how we do business.

ICE Innovation Awards We’re dedicated to implementing new technologies that can improve our industry. In 2024, ICE recognized our team with the ICE Innovation Award for Best Use of Mobile Technology in Origination. This accompanies our 2022 ICE Innovation Award for Intelligent Automation – Best Implementation of Automation.

Advocacy Aimed at Affordability:Our President, Laura Escobar, is representing our industry as the 2025 Chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association. She is actively engaged in advocacy with a focus on housing supply and affordability.

Green Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS): Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac offer Green Mortgage Backed Securities on energy-efficient homes, including some Lennar homes. We provided over 200 eligible loans for this environmentally friendly form of investment in 2024.

The Princess Mackie Book Challenge: Princess Mackie Buys A House by Twala Lockett-Jones, is an illustrated book that educates children on the steps of buying a home. So far, Lennar Mortgage has purchased 1,000 copies to be given away at no charge. Some of these copies were included in Little Free Libraries created by our Associates, making them freely available to residents in Maine.
Care for the Communities that Support Us
Our responsibility goes beyond caring for our Customers and Associates – it’s also our role to leave the communities where we work and live better than we found them. To do so, we must continually innovate on doing business sustainably and donate resources and time where they're needed most.

Paperless Mortgages: In 2020, we introduced the option for remote closings with digital notaries, using technology to prevent paper waste equivalent to 400+ trees. In 2024 alone, we eliminated paper waste equivalent to saving about 144 trees.

MBA Opens Doors Foundation: Each year, our Associates raise funds for the MBA Opens Doors Foundation, a charity that provides rental/mortgage assistance to families with critically ill children. Our 2024 derby-themed fundraiser for this cause raised over $100,000.

Dolphins Cancer Challenge: We support the Miami Dolphins Challenge Cancer (DCC), which gives 100% of participant-raised funds to the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. For our 13th consecutive year supporting this amazing cause, the Lennar Foundation brought its running fundraising total to $17 million.

Focused Acts of Caring: In 2024, Associates self-reported over 300 hours of volunteering and giving back to their communities. This included volunteering at food banks, delivering homemade meals, donating clothing to underprivileged communities and more.
