A 35-year industry veteran, Lennar Mortgage President Laura Escobar has been a leader in both bank-owned and independent mortgage companies, overseeing all aspects of mortgage banking.

Laura is passionate about “Paying It Forward”. She exemplifies giving back through her involvement in her local South Florida community, as well as her volunteer work and support of organizations such as Women of Tomorrow and United Way’s Women United chapter. As a licensed mental health counselor, she devotes much of her time to understanding and uplifting underserved women and minorities within her community.

As the Chief Information Officer at Lennar Financial Services, Tom Moreno leads Lennar Mortgage’s success in a digital world with over 30 years of Information Technology experience.

Working closely with our senior management in production and operations, Tom leads the way in developing digital lending platform standards for our industry. He's developed a comprehensive technology strategy that benefits Customers, Associates and stakeholders alike. When he’s not pioneering new mortgage technologies, New York native Tom enjoys traveling with his wife and four boys. You’ll often find him outdoors – day sailing, biking, or enjoying a game of golf or tennis.

With 24 years of legal experience, Chief Risk and Legal Officer Patti Dietz has in-house expertise providing practical, business-forward advice in numerous areas.

Spending most of her career as an in-house attorney, Patti’s knowledge covers corporate governance, regulatory compliance, transactions, risk management and litigation oversight. In both her professional and personal life, Patti is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion. Driven to give opportunities to those with diverse backgrounds and opinions, she’s focused her volunteer efforts on Dress of Success skills training and student mentorships. Patti’s passion has been an invigorating force in Lennar’s Fair Housing and Fair Lending efforts.

With a 30-year background in mortgage and investment banking, Executive Vice President of Operations Maria Fregosi strategically directs our operations, finance, credit and capital market functions.

Maria joined Lennar Mortgage in 2023 following a successful IPO and public debt offering of Homepoint, a company she helped found. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Maria received a Master’s in Business Administration from the Simon School at the University of Rochester and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics from SUNY Buffalo State. Currently living in sunny Boca Raton, FL, she spends her spare time SCUBA diving for tropical fish with her husband and son.

With 20 years tenure guiding teams to industry-leading achievements, Executive Vice President of Production David Todd brings a track record of success to his role leading our sales organization nationally.

David is passionate about caring for our Customers, developing our Associates and improving the communities we serve.

An industry veteran with 38 years of experience, Senior Vice President of Secondary Marketing Doug Cropsey oversees a variety of functions from pricing to post-closing.

Working in Capital Markets since 1991, Doug’s background and big-picture perspective are key in creating the world’s simplest path to homeownership for Lennar’s Customers. His responsibilities include products, pricing, investor relations, interest rate risk management, trading and post-closing.

As Senior Vice President of Operations, Doug Calabrese leads our mortgage fulfillment operations with 15 years of leadership experience focused on technology-driven efficiency.

Doug has a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s of Science in Finances from the University of South Florida. In his personal life, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and golfing. Doug has been an active member within the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) on both the national and local level.

As Vice President of Human Resources for Lennar Financial Services, Melissa Montgomery leads our efforts in creating an exceptional workplace environment and developing our Associates.

An accomplished HR and business leader, Melissa joined us in 2023 with a commitment to build high-performing teams through planning, insights and direction. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resource Management from California State University, Bakersfield.  When she isn't at work, Melissa enjoys collecting posters from National Park visits with her family.
