Lennar Mortgage Wins A 2024 ICE Innovation Award

In March 2024, our Associates attended ICE Experience 2024, a conference held by ICE Mortgage Technology. This conference brings together leaders in the mortgage industry and celebrates innovative solutions with the ICE Innovation Awards. 

We are committed to creating the world’s simplest path to homeownership – and technology is at the heart of that mission. It’s an honor to have our dedication recognized with the 2024 ICE Innovation Award for Best Use of Mobile Technology in Origination. 

The Work Behind the Award 

In an environment of rising volume, additional regulations and complicated guidelines, we set out to use new technologies to overcome bottlenecks that affect the entire mortgage industry. 

This required striking a balance between human skills, automation and transparency. We needed to use automation to handle the volume without losing the value of human judgement when working within guidelines and regulations.  

Using a suite of ICE Mortgage Technology’s solutions, we created a new ecosystem and workflow that enables loan-level tasks to be completed by the right person, with the right skill set, at the right time. We’re now positioned to achieve our volume and scalability goals while providing career growth and work-life harmony for our Associates.

Our History of Industry Innovation 

We’re always evaluating our workflows to find the most efficient way to serve our Customers. As technology has evolved, we’ve implemented more and more solutions into our daily processes. 

• In 2022, we won the ICE Innovation Award for Intelligent Automation - Best Implementation of Automation. This reflected a shift in automating the more mundane tasks of the origination process, allowing our Associates to focus on more sophisticated processes. 

• Beginning in 2018, we began offering remote closing with a Remote Online Notary. This convenient option lets qualified Customers close from anywhere with a secure online notary service. 

We continue working hand-in-hand with ICE Mortgage Technology and other industry leaders to create the solutions that shape our industry.
